Recent PHSC Website updates and other news:
January 2024 - The PHSC begins 2024 with its Operations Manager position having been filled nearly 6 months by long time Peacock Hill resident Mike Barber. The board trusts his efforts at routine water line flushing has improved the water quality for everyone. Several other projects are also underway (some of you may have noticed the Before you dig flags along the side of Turkey Ridge Rd). TownSquare will be used, as with the water flushing, to notify residents as these projects begin.
February 2024 - An updated HOA directory pdf file is in progress. Note that the content on this website for the directory under the page Peacock Hill Community Association Links is being removed in March 2024.
Welcome to the PHSC website. The Albemarle County Peacock Hill subdivision is supplied water by the Peacock Hill Service Company (PHSC) a Virginia State Corporation. It is owned by the Peacock Hill Community Association, purchased in 1991 from the community's original developer. The PHSC is a self-run utility managed by 6 volunteer homeowners and 3 part-time staff who operate eight wells, two water tanks and a sewer system. Individual homeowner wells are prohibited. The design of the water system was approved by the Virginia State Health Department to accommodate approximately 180 lots. The system presently serves 172 homeowners.
